Westway Cottage B&B is located in Helmsley only a few minutes walk from the castle & a selection of fine shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Helmsley was the winner of the "Best Market Town" category in the 2015 "Great British High Street" awards.
We are perfectly located for you to explore North Yorkshire, with the dramatic East Coast, the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors & the historic city of York all within easy reach. Below we have prepared some information on things to see & do in the local area to help you plan your visit to us.
Before setting out to eat we recommend that you call ahead to check that the restaurant or pub is open & serving food. We have been caught out before! Some pubs in the area also seem to close on Mondays. Also, may of the pubs & restaurants get fully booked at weekend & busy times, so please book to avoid disappointment.
